Some pictures of the project:

Altaaqa Global strategically installed two temporary gas power plants, with a combined capacity of 50 MW,
in Douala, Cameroon

Altaaqa Global provided natural gas generators that are flexible, quick to install and commission,
and can directly connect to the existing grid no matter the latter's condition or age

Altaaqa Global provided gas generators that only emit 250 mg/Nm3, even without after-treatment

The generators are economical to operate, owing to the abundant and readily available natural gas in Cameroon, and to their ability to vary the electricity output depending on the seasonal requirement

More than 100 in-house and local engineers worked in both sites 24/7, following a 3-shift schedule, to meet the 30-day deadline. They were constantly trained, monitored and evaluated to ensure the correctness and safety of their procedures at every stage of the installation process.

The project was inaugurated by H.E. Atangana Kouna Basile,
Minister of Water Resources and Energy of Cameroon (Center)
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior executives from Altaaqa Global [Majid Zahid, Strategic Accounts Director, Altaaqa Global (extreme right)] and allied agencies, as well as in-house and local engineers and technicians
